I’m so excited – sounds fabulous. Well done to everyone involved. Would love to show my kids how/where their fruit and veg are grown – maybe willing farmers could offer an open day to show us city slickers around?
Thanks

Miriam. Farm tours of our Food Connect farms form an integral part of the Food Connect experience for all subscribers and are loved by not only subscribers and City Cousins but farmers as well. They are a core component of food connecting! Check out the farm tour testimonies on Food Connect Brisbanes website. Thanks for your support. We really really love your feedback at this stage! :-)

Hello,

I am so, so happy I found Food Connect! One of my burning passions is growing my own food (and from the garden to the table in under an hour is such an appealing concept!) and one of my others is boycotting the great duopoly. Congratulations on getting everything going! It is high time farmers and producers were paid fairly. I will certainly be telling everyone I know about your operation.

Best of luck with it all, and I will have my subscription in by Monday!

This is a great concept. I have become increasingly concerned at the amount of food products/vegetables/fruit that is being brought in to this country. I see every food source introduced as representing jobs lost in this country. The more outlets for our local farmers/growers is a great thing. I do grow a lot of my own vegetables/fruit but on a small scale. There is so much to be enjoyed harvesting from your own garden but for those who are unable this service you are providing is a great thing. I will certainly keep monitoring your website. Cheers

Congratulations Sally and everyone involved with FoodConnect. Wishing you all the best for the future.
